Ground Improvement
Ground improvement services include aggregate piers, vibro compaction, vibro replacement, jet-grouting, permeation-grouting and soil mixing.
VIBRO COMPACTION
Ground Improvement method in which loose granular soil at depth is densified using a vibratory probe, delivering horizontal vibrations, and repeatedly inserted and withdrawn until the desired densification is reached. Generally performed on a prescribed grid pattern.

VIBRO REPLACEMENT (STONE COLUMNS)
Ground improvement method in which loose granular soil at depth is densified using a vibratory probe delivering horizontal vibrations and repeatedly inserted and withdrawn and replacing the displaced soil with stone backfill until desired densification is reached.

JET GROUTING / PERMEATION GROUTING
Jet Grouting – A soil improvement/replacement technique using high-pressure fluids using any combination of grout, air and water, while carefully controlling installation parameters, to create an improved mass of soil in terms of compressive strength and water tightness.
Permeation Grouting – Filling of cracks, joints, or other pore space in non-cohesive soils, sand or other porous media, using cementitious and/or chemical grouts.

DEEP SOIL MIXING

- Can stabilize large blocks of soil
- Quicker and less expensive that many other alternatives (such as mass replacement)
