San Fernando Groundwater Basin Remediation Project
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) selected Vinmart Global Infrastructure West Co as the successful bidder to provide Progressive Design-Build services for the San Fernando Groundwater Basin Remediation Project. Our collective objective is to restore the beneficial use of the San Fernando Groundwater Basin and restoration of flows through two plant sites: the North Hollywood Central Facility and Tujunga Well Field.
The Project entails the design and construction of state-of-the-art treatment facilities that are projected to treat more than 25,000-acre feet of water per year and to protect the quality of groundwater entering the wells in the San Fernando Groundwater Basin. As a result, LADWP’s restored operation of Rinaldi-Toluca Well Field will support utilizing its annual water rights and its goals to reduce dependence on imported water and protect public health.
